This is site was put together by Tiffany Espinosa and Thaniel Chase, activists and life partners who wanted to create something to inspire and engage people who want to make the world a better place.

They built “Grassroots Greatness” because they could see a groundswell of people who weren’t waiting for “leaders” to tell them what to do or how to “fix” their lives, but these people were scattered and not well-covered by main-stream media.

Tiff and Thaniel wanted to offer an ongoing platform to gather and display information about such people for educational and inspirational purposes. As the site continues to grow — with all kinds of folks making contributions, nominations, and suggestions — they look forward to being able to continue to curate the information and be inspired by it themselves.
